Twelve years after a small group of ALS patients rode their electric wheelchairs over 350 miles from Yankee Stadium to Washington D.C. to call attention to ALS, and the needs of those living with the disease, Chris Pendergast is still hitting the streets in his electric wheelchair to raise money and awareness for Lou Gherig's disease.
On Monday, May 25, News 12 Long Island's Elizabeth Hashagen will bring you Chris' story of hope and determination in "Ride for Life."
