Opening statements came today in the retrial of a Miller place woman accused of driving under the influence and causing a deadly crash back in May 2008. Prosecutors allege that Jennifer Jorgensen was drunk and high when she slammed into a car on Whiskey Road in Ridge. Robert Kelly, 75, and his 70-year-old wife Mary both died in the crash. Jorgensen was eight-months pregnant at the time, but doctors could not save her child. Jorgensen's first trial ended in a mistrial last year. Jorgensen claims the Suffolk Crime Lab test results that were used in her case were not accurate. She faces 25 years in prison if convicted.Miller Place woman to learn fate in fatal DWI accident
