Witnesses say that sheriff's deputies were involved in a high-speed chase while attempting to pull over a car in the North Bellport area at around 2 a.m.
News 12 is told that the car took off and sped into downtown Patchogue Village before slamming into 2 other cars.
Reports also say that both people inside the car took off on foot and only one has been captured.
There are no confirmed details yet from the Sheriff's Office.
