The woman who a Long Island Rail Road rider targeted in a racist rant that went viral in video online is reportedly taking legal action.
Soraya Orelian told the Daily News that what happened on her Long Beach branch train was a hate crime, and she plans on pressing charges.
As News 12 has reported, a man was caught on camera spewing racist comments at a woman who he accused of speaking too loudly on her cellphone.
The MTA did not immediately respond to a News 12 request for comment.
