A potential threat linked to the terrorist organization ISIS has been made against the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup at Eisenhower Park.
The possible threat specifically cites the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, and mentions the date June 9, when the India-Pakistan match is scheduled to be played.
News 12 has not independently verified the threat. According to the UK’s Daily Express, it was posted on Matrix.org, a website used by ISIS supporters.
Nassau County police and the Nassau County executive have not commented on the reported threat. A news conference is expected Wednesday morning.
