Report: 2 LI schools rank in Top 10 of best schools in New York

All elementary and middle schools in the Plainview Old-Bethpage Central School District ranked in the top 100 in New York state, according to the U.S News and World Report.

Judy Jacobs Parkway and Old-Bethpage elementary schools placed first and second among Long Island's public schools in New York, according to U.S News and World Report.
Old-Bethpage ranked No. 8 in New York and Judy Jacobs came in No. 9.
"We are so excited, it confirms all the hard work that are teachers are doing with our students, as well as the support of our community that have been robust for a very long time," says Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District Superintendent of Schools Mary O'Meara.
O'Meara tells News 12 this was the first time both elementary schools placed first and second on Long Island.
