Rehabilitated sea turtles released into water at Ponquogue Beach

Two sea turtles were released back into Long Island waters on Tuesday.

The reptiles were hypothermic and weak due to severe cold weather known as "cold-stunning."

They were found in the waters near New England and flown down to Southampton to be treated by The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society.

The endangered Kemp Ridley turtles were released into the sea at Ponquogue Beach.
