A rally and march were held at Cadman Plaza in Downtown Brooklyn on Monday morning.

It was organized by The Arc of Justice, Hands Off NY.

Hundreds are marching into Manhattan to call for a full and independent investigation into the death of Renee Good – a Minnesota woman fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.

Those in attendance held signs that read "ICE out of NYC" and "Immigrants are welcome here.”

Protesters say they want to see an end to the ICE operations all over, but especially in New York City.

Jumanne Williams, the NYC Public Advocate, says, “It is painful to see how far we've come backwards since Dr. King was fighting."
