Man charged with burglary, assault after refusing to leave a Dunkin' & trying to make his own coffee behind the counter
Police say that after he was told to leave he walked behind the counter and began to make himself a coffee.

A man was charged with burglary and assault after refusing to leave a Dunkin' and trying to make his own coffee behind the counter in Williston Park.
It was 10:40 p.m. Thursday when authorities say Senai Haywood, of Queens, entered the Dunkin' on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park.
A 25-year-old employee told him the store was closed, but Haywood ignored him, went behind the counter and attempted to make himself a coffee, police said.
After the employee told Haywood to leave for the second time, Haywood allegedly became violent.
According to court documents he "became irate" and struck the employee "in the chest three times with a closed fist causing substantial pain" to his chest.
He then threw cups around the store before running away, the documents state.
Police caught up with Haywood a few blocks over, where they say "a violent struggle ensued."
Haywood was ultimately subdued, arrested and taken to a hospital for assessment, authorities say.
Haywood pleaded not guilty at his Friday arraignment. Bail was set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
