Protesters rally against President Trump's visit to Nassau County
Dozens of protesters gathered at Nassau Community College to protest President Donald Trump's visit.
Protesters chanted and held signs at Nassau Community College, rallying against President Donald Trump ahead of his Friday visit.
The demonstrators honed in on the president's immigration policies and affordability, among other topics.
Through tears, Freeport resident Linda Wright said, "My kids are talking about leaving New York because they can’t afford to be here and I’m used to my kids being around me."

Jeanne D'Esposito of Malverne said, "As a retired attorney, one of the things that troubles me most is the complete disregard for the rule of law."
The protest was largely peaceful, though at one point some of the president's supporters had words with some of the protesters.
