(AP) - Los Angeles prosecutors have rejected filing a burglary case against Lindsay Lohan over the alleged theft of items from a friend's house. The determination was made Tuesday afternoon after police detectives presented a potential case against the "Mean Girls" star. The case stemmed from a reported burglary on Aug. 18 at a Hollywood Hills home where Lohan had been a guest. Prosecutors cited lack of evidence to prove Lohan and two others were involved in the incident. The 26-year-old remains on informal probation for taking a necklace without permission in January 2011, just weeks after she was released from court-mandated rehab.
