Principal at Oyster Bay-East Norwich school resigns
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Francesco Ianni said the resignation "had nothing to do with any issue with our students or staff."

News 12 Long Island has learned the principal at James H. Vernon School in Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District has resigned.
It was announced that Jessica Bader resigned from her position at Tuesday night’s school board meeting.
Bader just started as the principal this year.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Francesco Ianni said the resignation "had nothing to do with any issue with our students or staff."
Ianni also went on to say that while he is not at liberty to discuss personnel information, he detailed the hiring process, and said the "school district relies on the candidate's truthfulness" when considering candidates.
