President Joe Biden delivered his second State of the Union address of his presidency this past week, touting his administration's accomplishments for the economy and growth in the job market. This despite serious concerns among economists about lingering inflation. Biden also talked about the controversial issue of raising the national debt ceiling to keep the U-S from defaulting on its debt.
Rich Barrabi was joined this week by Republican Rep. Anthony D'Esposito with his thoughts on the address.
Also, Democrats in the Nassau Legislature are calling on County Executive Bruce Blakeman to extend the tax grievance filing period, claiming millions of dollars in errors on county tax bills. Democratic Legislator Siela Bynoe from Westbury discusses that on this week's Power & Politics.
