Also, Republicans know who will face Rep. Tom Suozzi in New York's 3rd District in the fall – former Assemblyman Michael Lipetri. He will not face a GOP primary. The state Board of Elections kicked off four other candidates who were hoping to compete in a Republican primary, determining they submitted invalid signatures on their candidacy petitions. Lipetri laid out his plans for Nassau County.
