A Patchogue woman is accused of leading police officers on a chase as she went on a wild, drunken ride.
Police say Jennifer Paterno fled officers who attempted to pull her over on County Road 51 in Northampton overnight.
Paterno, 31, allegedly drove the wrong-way, exceeded the speed limit and nearly hit several cars as she led officers on a chase.
Police say Paterno was finally stopped in East Moriches and was determined to be intoxicated.
She faces charges of DWI, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and unlawfully fleeing a police officer. Police say Paterno also faces traffic violations.
Police are asking any witnesses to call investigators at 631-702-2250.
