Police say an East Moriches woman has been killed in a Shirley crash.

Police tell News 12 Kerry Probst was driving a car westbound on Neighborhood Road when she crossed over the center line, colliding with a van driving eastbound on Havenwood Drive.

The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Probst was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The other driver was not hurt.
