A woman was airlifted to a hospital after being thrown from her Jet Ski in Wantagh.

The call for help came after 7 p.m. Friday at Seamans Creek Bridge.

Police say the 28-year-old suffered a possible skull fracture and a broken leg.

The woman was flown by helicopter for treatment. She is said to be in critical but stable condition.
