2ds agoPolice say a Valley Stream man has been arrested for slashing a woman with a knife early Monday.
It happened at J&F Jimenez Deli on Rockaway Avenue just after midnight.
Police say the victim was cut in the hand by Jose Velasquez while trying to break up a fight.
Velasquez is charged with assault.
