A Uniondale man has been arrested for burglary following an incident at Roosevelt Field Mall.

Detectives say Robert Ardoin was inside Bloomingdale's tampering with the cash register late Tuesday night.

According to police, Ardoin refused multiple commands while holding a crowbar over his head and officers had to use a taser to arrest him.

Police say Ardoin damaged 15 cash registers and took out $3,000 from the store.

Detectives later discovered he was linked to two other burglaries at the mall since March. One at the same Bloomingdale's, the other at Macy's inside the mall.

Ardoin faces multiple charges including burglary and menacing a police officer.
