MTA officials are urging commuters to check for any unauthorized activity on their credit or debit card accounts after police found tiny cameras on seven ticket vending machines.

The cameras were found on machines at four LIRR stations in Bayside, Great Neck, Garden City and Greenvale.

Investigators say the scam was unveiled after a customer noticed a small video camera on the ground that fell from the top of a ticket machine.

MTA police say they are checking all of their ticket machines for cameras.

Anyone who may have witnessed the ticket machine tampering is urged to call the MTA police at 718-361-2247.
