Police: Suspect wanted for Elmont restaurant burglary

Authorities say someone threw a brick through the front door of El Buen Sabor Catracho on Hempstead Turnpike and stole money from the register.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect who broke into a restaurant Saturday morning in Elmont.

Authorities say the person threw a brick through the front door of El Buen Sabor Catracho on Hempstead Turnpike around 3:30 a.m.

They then allegedly went inside and stole money from the register.

Anyone with information is urged to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
