Police are asking for the public’s help identifying man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint Thursday in West Babylon.

Detectives say the man walked into the Sunoco on Little East Neck Road at 8:14 p.m., displayed the weapon and demanded cash.

The clerk gave him the money. The man then fled the scene on foot.
