A man accused of fatally shooting a North Babylon resident Friday has been charged with murder, according to police.
Authorities say Romeo Campbell, 23, was in front of his house on Charter Oaks Avenue when he shot Joshua Jasmin at around 6 p.m.
The 30-year-old victim was hospitalized and later pronounced dead, according to police.
Campbell was held by police overnight and is expected to face a judge in Central Islip on Saturday.
