Police: Suspect arrested for burglarizing Walgreens in Hicksville

Authorities say 30-year-old Ali Idrizi broke the front window of the store on South Broadway and stole merchandise.

A Queens man accused of burglarizing a Walgreens Friday in Hicksville is facing multiple charges, according to police.

Authorities say 30-year-old Ali Idrizi broke the front window of the store on South Broadway just after 3 a.m., stole merchandise and then fled the scene on foot.

Officers later located him at the Hicksville train station parking lot and took him into custody.

In addition to burglary, police say he is also charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny.
