Police responded to the accident Monday night near Exit 29 in North Massapequa.
According to police, a Nissan crashed into trees before catching fire.
The driver, Brayan Antonio Benitez-Benitez was killed, as well as an unidentified passenger.
Police believe excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
