Police sources say a man is dead and a woman is recovering in attempted murder suicide.
According to police they were called to the scene just after midnight to 125 West 228th St. That's where they found a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and a 43-year-old woman shot in the torso.
They were both rushed to the hospital where the man was pronounced dead and the woman remains in stable condition.
