Suffolk County police say they responded to a plane crash near Brookhaven Calabro Airport in Shirley on Saturday.

The Federal Aviation Administration says four people were aboard the single-engine PA-24 when it landed in a field around 4:15 p.m.

Suffolk police said there were no reported injuries.

A preliminary report will be available on Sunday.
