Shots were fired inside the LA Fitness at the basketball court in New Hyde Park, police say.

The incident happened Monday at 9:06 p.m. inside the LA Fitness on Marcus Avenue.

Police say no one was injured, and no arrests have yet been made.

The basketball courts which are normally open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, remain closed today. 

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
