Police: Several people hurt in Moriches crash involving school minibus

News 12 has learned several people were hurt following a crash involving a mini school bus with kids inside in Moriches.
Police tell News 12 the man driving the bus suffered from a medical emergency while heading north on Moriches-Middle Island Road.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say the bus rear-ended a Toyota before swerving into the southbound lane - striking a large school bus. The large school bus had no children on board.
The minibus then veered back into the northbound lane and hit an ambulette with two passengers inside.
A Volkswagen Beatle and a BMW were also struck in the crash.
Several people, including the minibus driver and one child, were injured.
