Police seek man who robbed Syosset gas station

The clerk gave the suspect around $600 and boxes of cigarettes.

Nassau County police are searching for a man they say robbed a Syosset gas station early Thursday.
They say 28-year-old Jose Nieves entered the BP on South Oyster Bay Road and approached the clerk with his right hand in his pocket, implying that he had a weapon.
The clerk gave the suspect around $600 and boxes of cigarettes.
Police say Nieves has brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a camouflage jacket, white sneakers and black pants.
His last known addresses are located in Uniondale, Long Beach and Levittown.
