7h agoNassau County police are searching for a man they say robbed a Syosset gas station early Thursday.
They say 28-year-old Jose Nieves entered the BP on South Oyster Bay Road and approached the clerk with his right hand in his pocket, implying that he had a weapon.
The clerk gave the suspect around $600 and boxes of cigarettes.
Police say Nieves has brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a camouflage jacket, white sneakers and black pants.
His last known addresses are located in Uniondale, Long Beach and Levittown.
Anyone with any information on the suspect is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.
