2h agoPolice say a Roosevelt man has been arrested for criminal possession of a weapon.
According to police, the incident happened on Saturday around 10:45 p.m.
Detectives tell News 12 police were around Greengrove Avenue in Uniondale when they saw a man walking on Front Street.
Police say Kenneth Edwards, 30, was allegedly failing to get out of the way of traffic.
When officers tried to approach Edwards, he ran off across Greengrove Avenue.
Police say when they caught up with him, they placed Edwards under arrest and found him in possession of a loaded gun.
