have released new video of the car they say sped away from the scene after
fatally striking a pedestrian in Huntington Station last weekend.
As News 12 has reported, 49-year-old Bernarda
Fernandez was crossing Jericho Turnpike at Oakwood Road around 4 a.m. Saturday. Police say she was struck by a Jeep Cherokee that then took
off.
Fernandez was rushed to the hospital where she was
pronounced dead.
