Police say one person was injured following a crash
on the Southern State Parkway in Elmont this morning.
Chopper 12 was over the westbound Southern State
Parkway where cars were backed up for miles. The one-car crash happened near
exit 13.
Police tell News 12 one person was ejected from the vehicle. The person was
taken to Jamaica Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
