Police say a man has been seriously injured following a crash in Lake Ronkonkoma.
According to police, Daphne Vaders, 52, was walking along Hawkins Avenue when she was hit by a Jeep that was trying to turn right on Express Drive North on Wednesday.
Vaders was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene.
