A pedestrian was killed Friday night in a crash on Sunrise Highway in Copiague.
Suffolk police say the man was walking across the highway at 35th Street just before midnight when he was hit by a Jeep driven by a 19-year-old.
The man died at the scene, according to police. He has yet to be identified.
Police say the driver of the Jeep was not hurt.
