Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting in Roosevelt that left one man injured.
The attack happened Wednesday night on Washington Avenue. According to police, the victim was walking with friends when two men approached them. One of the men shot the victim in the back and leg and the two attackers took off on foot. Police say there was no argument and no apparent motive.
A gun was found in the area of the incident, which police believe was the weapon used in the shooting. The victim was taken to Nassau University Medical Center. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
