Police say an officer stopped Maria Carballo on North Ocean Avenue, south of the Long Island Expressway, for swerving in between lanes.
The 29-year-old is now charged with a DWI under Leandra's Law, which is a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The 10-month-old has been released to his father.
