Police: Queens man faces charges for sex trafficking in Hicksville
2ds agoPolice confirm that a shooting took place Monday afternoon in the Village of Hempstead.
It happened at 12 p.m. at Stewart Avenue and Dartmouth Street.
A vehicle that appeared to have bullet holes was found near the scene and was being towed by Nassau County police.
There was also a heavy police presence at Fulton and Maryland avenues.

Police have only confirmed that there was a shooting in the area.
