Police say a woman in Norwalk was arrested for improperly storing firearms at her home.

Alaina Jones, of Deerfield Street, was arrested Friday after detectives found two 9 mm Glock handguns in her home, according to Norwalk police.

Police say they were investigating the theft of those guns from her home when they discovered that they weren't lawfully secured even though two juveniles were living there.

The missing guns were recovered by Stamford police, leading to two other arrests.

Police say Jones is facing charges of risk of injury to a child, interfering with an officer and negligent storage of a firearm.
