Several people were arrested in a recent string of robberies in Nassau County.
Police say the robberies started in September and continued up to the most recent incident this month.
The suspects are accused of walking directly to a teller and demanding money. In some cases, they flashed a gun that was under their shirt.
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman joined police and demanded action from the state on cashless bail, which he says has contributed to criminals being let out and committing additional crimes.
"Our state elected officials have to get serious about changing laws that give criminals more rights than victims and make it hard for law enforcement professionals to keep us safe," Blakeman says.
The four men arrested for the most recent bank robbery are being arraigned in Nassau County.
