Police: Middle Island man accused of hit-and-run in Patchogue

Police say Bryam Moscoso-Gomez was driving on Route 112 when he hit Meagan Murray, of Lake Ronkonkoma, while she was crossing near Barton Avenue.

Police say a Middle Island man was charged in a Patchogue hit-and-run on Wednesday.

They say Bryam Moscoso-Gomez was driving on Route 112 when he hit Meagan Murray, of Lake Ronkonkoma, while she was crossing near Barton Avenue.

Moscoso-Gomez allegedly drove off but was found and arrested shortly after.

Murray was airlifted to the hospital.

Moscoso-Gomez is charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in serious physical injury.
