Woman who pleaded guilty in death of beloved grandfather begins jail term

Suffolk police are searching for the man responsible for stealing more than $9,000 from a Melville liquor store.

They say it happened at Melville Wine and Spirits on Walt Whitman Road last month.

Police say he took cash from an unlocked desk drawer inside an office.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
