Police are searching for a man they say brazenly robbed a jewelry store in Garden City.

The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the man walked into Sak's Off 5th Avenue on Old Country Road, reached over the counter, and started taking gold jewelry.

An employee tried to close the case, but the man allegedly forced it open, cutting the woman's arm.

Police say he drove away in a four-door black colored Mazda CX5.
