Police say a man has been hospitalized following a stabbing in Copiague.

According to police, the man was stabbed on Oak Street just outside the 7-Eleven after a fight with another man around 1 a.m.

Police say the suspect fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
