Police: Man shoots at car in road rage incident in Deer Park

Detectives tell News 12 the incident happened Thursday morning at the intersection of Commack Road and Marcus Boulevard.

Suffolk police are searching for a man they say shot at a car during a road rage incident in Deer Park.
Detectives tell News 12 the incident happened Thursday morning at the intersection of Commack Road and Marcus Boulevard.
Police say a man was getting to the intersection when he was shot by what appears to be BB gun or gel pellets coming from a black Hyundai.
News 12 has been told the victim tried to get out of his car and approach the suspects, when the driver pointed a gun at him. The driver then shot the passenger tires of the victim's car, causing them to go flat.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
