A man was seriously injured in a Selden hit-and-run Wednesday night.

Authorities say at 9:52 p.m., 18-year-old Selden resident Isaac Ramirez was riding an electric bicycle southbound on Dare Road when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene, continuing southbound on Dare Road.

Ramirez was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment.
