Police say a man has been arrested after an argument turned violent in Garden City.
The incident happened at the Avalon apartment complex on Tuesday.
Detectives say Devon Mertzel, 24, was arguing with a 20-year-old woman when he took her iPhone and laptop.
Mertzel then kicked her in the stomach, hit her in the face and bit her hand, police say.
Officers also found an unloaded handgun.
The woman is expected to be OK.
Mertzel is facing robbery and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
