5h agoA man is in critical condition after an incident at Nassau Open MRI Center in Westbury, according to police.
Police say a 61-year-old man went into an unauthorized MRI room in the middle of a scan and was pulled to the machine by the large metallic chain around his neck, causing a medical episode.
The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
The man was taken to the hospital, and an investigation is now underway.
