a man was fatally struck by a car in Shirley late Sunday night.
According
to police, the incident happened on the William Floyd Parkway just before 11
p.m.
Police say 37-year-old Osmin Yavani Montoya Moreno was
crossing the roadway from west to east when he was struck by a Jeep
heading north.
Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver
of the Jeep was not injured and remained on the scene.
The driver
is not facing charges at this time.
