Police: Man arrested for fatal shooting outside Central Islip restaurant

Ismael Rodriguez-Rosado, 27, is charged with second-degree murder and will be arraigned on Aug. 3.

Suffolk police arrested an East Islip man in connection with a fatal shooting outside a restaurant in Central Islip.
Police say German Ramirez and Ismael Rodriguez-Rosado were involved in an argument outside Mi Nuevo Encanto on Carleton Avenue. Police say they received a call around 1 a.m. Monday that a man had been shot.
Police say Rodriguez-Rosado fired multiple shots hitting Ramirez.
Ramirez, 31, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.
Rodriguez-Rosado, 27, is charged with second-degree murder and will be arraigned on Aug. 3.
